Volunteers needed for Cross Road Embrace-a-Stream Habitat Improvement Project Tree Planting phase.

We are scheduling a work party to plant the trees on Saturday October 8th.

We will meet/start at 9:00 AM at the end of Cross Road (GPS coordinates: 42.425772, -77.437415)

Bring long handled shovels, work gloves, pliers, and wire cutters. A couple of weed whackers would also be helpful. Please note that there is a lot of long grass where you will be working, so long sleeves, long pants, a hat and bug spray are a good idea as tick prevention measures.

After the tree planting in the morning, we will have an Oktoberfest Tailgate picnic for all the volunteers.
